With the official launch still three days away, a number of iPhone 4S pre-order customers are reporting delivery of their new handsets today. Dozens of German customers have shared images of iPhone 4S packaging, handset, Siri Assistant and more with Macerkopf confirming that their iPhone had been delivered ahead of the device’s official launch on Friday. The iPhone 4S was reportedly delivered by Deutche Telekom, which began accepting preorders for the next generation phone, in early September.
For everyone else, who haven’t preordered the iPhone 4S, the handset will be available at all 245 Apple retail stores in the US starting at 8 a.m. local time on Friday, October 14. The 16GB version will be retailing for of $199.99, 32GB for $299.99 and the 64GB will go on sale for $399.99 by signing 2 years of contract. Expect the long queues on October 14.
If you still want to get an iPhone 4S on launch day, your best bet is to try your luck at Wal-Mart, Best Buy or Radio Shack stores. Those three retailers will also sell the iPhone 4S in stores starting Oct. 14.
With Apple snapping one million iPhone 4S pre-orders within 24 hours, the device has already broken all past launch day records.
As a quick refresher, iPhone 4S will be available in both color (Black, White) schemes on Friday, October 14 and that the company will roll out the device worldwide to 22 more countries by the end of October including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
